I have been a student of vinyasa and yin yoga since 2012. Originally self-taught; I got serious in 2017 when I began my practice with Bristol City Yoga, eventually become the regular help and assistance to the team there. Since then I have graduated from the 200 hour yoga teacher training course with a keen interest in body anatomy, chakras and mindful practice

Vinyasa Flow Yoga Class

Vinyasa Flow Yoga uses dynamic movements combined with the breath to flow from one pose to the next to form a flowing balanced sequence. It’s an excellent way to energise and deepen our connection with our breath and develop coordination and strength.

The practice can be physically challenging but Hana know how to accommodate beginners as well as more experienced pupils. Suitable for all levels of students including beginners.

Yin Yoga Class

Yin Yoga is a slow, deep and mindful practice and for many, it is the perfect compliment and the opposite of flow yoga. There are 26 main yin postures that are renamed to highlight the way Yin Yoga is practised. Poses are often supported with props and held for between 1 and 5 minutes. Yin relates to the cooler and deeper tissues of the body such as ligaments, bone, and fascia. Each week the practice is attuned to different body parts, different seasons and fascial meridians. It is especially good for developing flexibility and calming both the mind and nervous system. Connection to the breath and exploring sensations within the landscape of the body help develop receptivity, quietness and patience.
